Powered by a Briggs & Stratton Professional Series 25hp V-twin engine, these mowers are also created to get the job done quickly, efficiently
and quietly.
“We have developed the fabricated deck to suit the harsh Australian mowing conditions,” says Rob Mellor, Briggs & Stratton Commercial Category Manager
for Australia and New Zealand.
“Wear and tear on cutting decks is the biggest contributor to downtime and customer dissatisfaction, but with our new fabricated deck models that wear
is drastically reduced extending the life of the mower whilst also improving quality of cut and mowing speed.”
Operator comfort has also been built into these two models, with easily activated cruise control on the SPX model and an electric key-start to make mowing
the lawn a cinch. Operators will also appreciate the convenient armrests fitted to the VZT2548, and both models have convenient ergonomic controls
ensuring mowing comfort.
Both models feature ample 122cm (48 inch) cutting widths for efficient mowing, with cutting heights ranging from 3.2cm to 10cm (1.25 inches to 4 inches).

“Fabricated, or welded, cutting decks are also much better suited to rougher blocks, as they’re much stronger than pressed cutting decks,” Rob adds.
“They will also cut lower than traditional pressed deck equivalent models.”
With either a zero turning radius on the VZT, or a tight turning circle of just 14 inches on the SPX, obstacles are easily negotiated and the heavy 12-gauge
steel frame ensures these powerful workhorses will continue to mow on and on whilst being ultra-efficient.
